Women's Archives Endowment

The Women's Archives Endowment was established in September 1997 through the generosity of an anonymous donor. A recently completed challenge grant from this same donor helped raise over $250,000 for the Endowment and a related work scholarship in the Women's Archives. The Women's Archives Endowment supports the costs associated with acquiring, processing, preserving and promoting materials for the Women's Archives.

Gifts to the Women's Archives are tax deductible and may be made payable to the "Oklahoma State University Foundation" by check or major credit card.

Gifts may be mailed to: OSU Foundation, PO Box 1749, Stillwater, OK 74076-1749 or given via OSU Foundation "Give."

Donate Materials

The Women's Archives welcomes gifts that reflect women's interests, activities and intellectual pursuits. Gifts may be from any time period including territorial and early statehood days, the Depression and World War II, up to the present. Of particular interest are materials that document Oklahoma women's experiences during the Dust Bowl.

In addition to long-term care of your items, your gift will be recognized by the inclusion of your name in records that can be searched in the OSU Library Catalog.

Gifts may include, but are not limited to: letters and correspondence, photographs, diaries, school mementos, reminiscences, scrapbooks, audio and video recordings, interviews, manuscripts, research notes and business or work-related materials. Please contact Archives staff if you have materials you wish to donate.
